Explore a journey at the oxygenous Regent's Park with Model Hirisha wearing a brown gown, a shoot out of the ordinary.

They say that in fashion designers like to innovate and to create new things and many designers claim to be visionary, so i decided to try something a bit "over the edge" with this shooting at the park. The main concept of these images was to create a contrast between the strong green color of the park and a very elegant dress the model is wearing, this way we put in contrast joyful colors with the clothing which is more serious and on top of that, the model has dark and intense makeup which conveys her an intense expression. My inspiration for this photo shoot came after talking with a visionary designer friend of mine which pushed me to create something new and alternative. The model was totally up for it and these strong high fashion images show the result of our efforts.

Moving in the various paths in Regent's Park, we found this alley which has a fountain at the end, it was a perfect setting for some striking "vogue poses" with our model walking in the middle of the grass.

I like to try and play with colors so i applied a filter called "street fashion" and this is the different look. Sometimes you only need a few small changes to make a dramatic difference to your photos and to give a different feeling. In every picture, the brown gown looked awesome.

One difficult thing when working with models is to make them adapt to your shooting and let them convey an emotion. Here i asked the model to transmit the feeling of angriness and her look combined with the dark makeup made a terrific image.

The next photo instead shows another slightly different feeling/emotion, that is what i call alternative beauty, due to the overall composition of the image. If you need an idea for your brown prom dress pictures, this is a perfect example of a striking high fashion pose near flowers.

This is my favourite photo of this set because the lighting was perfect. When shooting outdoors, i prefer to pick a cloudy day or to move in an area where the model is in the shade if it's a sunny day and to have a help from my flashgun for what we call "fill light" which you need for having the subject in front of you perfectly lit and the background well lit too. Outdoors photography is creative unlike many people may think.

Here's the last image with the model in the middle of an open field, main colour is always green which makes a superb contrast with her brown dress. Photographers out there, remember to be creative! Other colors that go well with green are : red and blue or if you want to risk, white too.
