Nature Photos For Plants Exhibition In Trieste, Italy. >>>>
I shot this photo for an exhibition that i have made in my city in Italy, that is Trieste. This one in particular is an olive plant and since i wanted to have a special effect in order to make it more attractive and interesting, i decided to turn it to black and white and then i applied some additional corrections in post production.
Another picture for the same exhibition, on this one i decided to apply a pink filter and remove all other main colors since it was a rose and for the guidelines of the exhibition i had to produce a certain amount of photos with a "creative" feel, and that is why i have applied the effect to this one.
The concept about this one is pretty much like the previous one with the difference that here i completelly transformed the photo into black and white and then i have extracted the red out of the roses, this time it's just plain red which is their classic color... perfect for doing a present for your loved one for a special occasion! Why not asking me for the full size if you want to do a present out of the ordinary for your Valentine? Just an idea out of the box!
As you can tell by all photos present on this page from my still life collection, i really like strong colors when it comes to this kind of photos, colors are alive and i like to express that in my photography! Here i have pumped up the main colors of this plant, green and red, shot for a plants catalogue for Semar.
Personal Exhibition "Attimi Di Vita" Photos, Trieste, Italy. >>>>
The selection of photos that follows represent my favourite images that i have used during my exhibition "Attimi Di Vita", you can check this presentation clip on youtube. The concept of this exhibition was to represent moments of every day life, from nature to people to feelings, that represent the sensations everybody has on a daily basis.
This one is definitely my favourite from my collection and i have it printed very large, it's a street photo, it's very strong, i love the red which is so powerful; i have shot it with my favourite lens that is my Nikkor 50mm, it produces some outstanding images and so sharp...if you like it contact me for the full res for having it printed out. Suggested minimum print size = 70x50cm.

Yet another one from my exhibition Attimi Di Vita, and a very cool one indeed; i can't tell how many times i was asked by people if this was real or if i have done it in Photoshop in post-prod. it's 100% REAL!! Sometimes you need to be lucky and get the right moment, so i was in Trieste, on the pier called "rive" and i noticed that some kids were pointing at the sea and so i was thinking what was going on, well, i started to shoot some photos and i noticed that there were so many jellyfish that it was incredible! Only thing i did was a levels correction in photoshop and shabam!!

Still Life Photos For Food Magazine, Milano, Italy. >>>>
These other images have been shot for a brochure of a food magazine in Milano, i have chosen various types of pasta and i shot very closeup. For having it more dynamic and for giving a genuine feel i added 2 wooden spoons. For making the photo look shiny you have to use raw pasta of course (don't boil it!!) and for the shiny effect i added some olive oil on the top.
Another picture from the food shooting in Milano, here we wanted to create for the client the feeling of something very cold and i shot this grape in a freezer and i think that the feeling this photo conveys is very cold indeed.
Different closeup of the pasta shooting, again you can see the shiny effect that was achieved using oil and we used 2 small flashes one as main light and one as side light.
