I have used a classic 45° setup for these studio shootings, the studio was equipped with Elinchrom softboxes and umbrellas. The main source which was a 60x60 softbox was set on the left of the set and on the right we had a smaller flash with a transparent umbrella used in bounce that was providing fill-light and giving better depth. |
The studio was not too big and since we had some light coming fron the windows on the left side, i preferred to pull the curtains since the pale sunshine of London's weather was giving some unwanted effects. It's always very important to keep an eye on the overall scene, never be too concentrated on your models, always pay attention to the small details before firing up your camera! This male model was particularly confident with himself and this portrait had a very aggressive look. As you can see on the right side of the picture there is a little shade/greyish area and i left that on purpose in order to show that we have used a less powerful source of light on that part of our set, just a small umbrella used in bounce. It's easy to fix this with Photoshop or any other editing software if you want an "absolute white" background. |
This photo shoot took place at IM Studio in London, for supporting charity and children in Africa. The income of this photo shoot has been devolved to charity. We had a professional make-up artist that worked with us too. In the last batch we had a lovely couple who wanted studio family photos. Fine Art Nude, Studio, Trieste, Italy. >>>>
This shooting was done at one of my teacher's studios, that is Axel Cipollini, this was for a fine art photography lesson with Celeste, she is a former ballet dancer and it was really incredible to work with her since she know how to pose without telling her anything, quite a dream model actually!
|
Yet another image with Celeste, we wanted to do these photos in black and white on purpose because the feeling should have been very delicate and soft and i think that this b&w is really strong on that aspect. On the background there was a black velvet backdrop that almost disappeared when shooting, i have to say that i really enjoyed doing this photo shoot in studio! The curves of a human body can be really amazing. Learn something more about natural light shooting during summer and shooting with warm light for improving your photographic skills!

Creative Shootings, Sky Studios, Trieste, Italy. >>>>
These photos were done for Passion and her sexy lingerie clothing line. The idea of this set was to have one girl playing devil and one girl playing angel
and you can imagine what happened, they just loved it and it was another fun shooting! |
You can tell that i have italian roots and that i like creative shootings by checking out this pic, here our lovely blonde model was literally covered with pasta with a white background and it was really a different shooting for all my team, sometimes it's essential to spice things up a little bit, same old becomes boring! |
